Making of Monster Ad...

BIG NEWS!!!!!! Longoland/VCCP/o2

I designed monsters (with the help of Chelsea Carter!) for the ad agency VCCP for a brand campaign for the German Telecommunications Company, "o2"....... It just premiered in Germany yesterday!!! The monsters represents tariffs that the phone companies impose on you.  There will be commercials, online ads, instore displays, all covered in Longoland monsters. I would love to do more commercial monster work!!! I will post sketches from the process in the coming days!!!! Heres a link to the official press release!!!

I received an email this morning from Christopher in Germany......I love the internet.

"I thought you might be interested in seeing some pictures of your monsters beeing exhibited in the o2 hq in Munich. I had nothing but my blackberry camera on me, so sorry for the bad quality.
After seeing the new add posters in the elevator this morning i just wondered what those awesome creatures might be. Then 10 minutes later i stumbled over this blog post on boing-boing.

I am getting ready for a show in ANtwerp Belgium this fall....Im running out of time and my studio is packed with half finished sculpture!!!! Here are some sketches for the show....Most of this stuff doesnt get made, but I have to work through it...

I work from home these days. This allows me to spend some serious time with the best dog on the world.
